SELF-GUIDED WALKING HOW IT WORKS
Our Self-Guided Walking trips allow you the freedom to travel independantly on the dates that suit you, supported by our regional knowledge, detailed route notes, excellent maps and lots of advice. Upon your arrival at the first hotel, your trip package is awaiting you. (in some regions, you will be briefed in person as well by our local representative).
Each morning, you set out when you want for the day's walk; some of the walks require a short transfer to the trailhead - these transfers are included, and the timing can be modified to suit you. The route is marked on detailed, highlighted maps, as well as with route notes, that explain with easy step by step instructions where you need to go and what to look for. While you are enjoying your walk, your baggage will be transferred to your next hotel, and will be waiting for you upon your arrival. Some of the meals are included, where it makes sense, and we leave you free some days to choose where you would like to eat - with advice from us, of course!
